  Assigning the Source System to the Info Source
       
 

The assignment of the Data Source to the Info Source is done by creating the Transfer Structure (with the transfer rule) and the Communication Structure. The transfer rules determine which transfer structure fields should be transferred to which communication structure fields.

Hint: Transfer rules must be explicitly activated to take effect.

Hint: Each Data Source has to be assigned separately.

Hint: An entry is required only in the field Info Object, the other fields are filled automatically by pressing <Enter>. The column sequence in the transfer structure must correspond to the column sequence in the flat files which are used to load data, otherwise data will not be loaded correctly or not be loaded at all.
